Gulfport Municipal Marina.
Since it took forever to get the anchor up we knew we were in good! We weren't moving anywhere in that 30 mph gust winds last night. We had a windy ride over to Gulfport, with winds up to 20 knots. As we neared the marina, they asked if we would go to the fuel dock to check in, but since it was so windy we declined and walked there after we were all settled. They had fixed docks 😔, which made it difficult for us to exit the boat and the pier was covered in bird poop. We originally were going to stay 2 nights but decided to leave in the am.
Tony's for dinner.
JoAnn and Jack recommended a pizza restaurant for dinner. They had met the owner's sister in Peoria. It was "three" blocks. Hal walked it but was not a happy camper. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we walked back.
Since we were originally staying longer I had prescriptions sent to a nearby CVS. Brenda and I took an Uber to the store but had to wait an hour until the pharmacy opened. They filled two prescriptions but my doctor had not called in the other prescription. On the way back to the boat our Uber driver stopped at Krispy Kreme for us. We bought donuts to take back to the marina.
We left shortly after we arrived back at the boat so we could be at Bay St. Louis for a celebration for Jack and JoAnn.
